More About Me

We moved to Vermont in 2000 to the Champlain Islands from Isle Of Palms, South Carolina. My wife Anne and I owned and operated a restaurant and outfitting business there. We wanted to expose our young family to living on the lake and share with them the experience of growing up in an authentic place with four seasons, and to move closer to our families in New York and Massachusetts.

In 2001, we bought a circa 1860 farmhouse and cottage on Lake Champlain in Grand Isle that we have been renovating, endlessly it seems, and improving over the years. We live there with our 18 year old son, Will, who attends South Burlington High School, skis, and plays Lacrosse for the Wolves. Our 25 year old daughter, Alex graduated from the University of Vermont with a Communications Degree and works at CBIR as a marketing and social media specialist. She also creates a lot of amazing video content for the properties we represent and is an FAA Certified Drone pilot. Anne specializes in photography, photo editing, staging, and working as a Buyer's Agent at CBIR as well. We love spending time on Lake Champlain in the summer, participating in all manner of water sports. In the winter, we spend a lot of time in Stowe, Vermont where we ski and own an investment property. There are a lot of unique variables to owning a property in the Lake Champlain Region of Vermont. It is so important to have an understanding of shoreland, septic, and local permitting as well as the differences in values for one area of the lake versus another. Be sure to partner with an experienced agent looking out for your interests, not the first agent you call. I would be pleased to share my knowledge of the area with you and be your advocate and real estate facilitator. Vermont is an amazing place to live, work, and play. Please don't hesitate to call or email me with any questions you may have about the area. Thanks for taking the time to find out a bit about me.Warmly,Franz Rosenberger
